Jayalalithaa was admitted to Apollo hospital last night after she complained of fever.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today wished Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, who has been admitted to a hospital in Chennai after she complained of fever, a speedy recovery.
Prime Minister Modi said in a letter, "Dear Dr J Jayalalithaa ji, I wish you a speedy recovery," and sent a bouquet of flowers wishing her a speedy recovery.
Thanking Mr Modi, Ms Jayalalithaa said in a letter,"I thank you for the concern and good wishes you have expressed in the letter."
The 68-year-old AIADMK leader was admitted to the Apollo hospital in Chennai late last night after she complained of fever.
"The Chief Minister (Jayalalithaa) has no fever now and is taking a normal diet. She is under observation," Apollo Hospital's Chief Operating Officer Subbiah Viswanathan said in a press release.
Tamil Nadu Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao, who also sent a bouquet of flowers said, "it is worrying to learn that you are indisposed and hospitalised due to fever."
He said, "My best wishes. People's prayers and God's blessings are always with you. I wish you a speedy recovery and pray to God to bring you back in good health enabling you to continue your distinguished service to the people."
She thanked the Governor for his wishes, and said, "I thank you for the concern and the kind sentiments that you have expressed in your letter."
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy also wished speedy recovery to Jayalalithaa.
In a tweet, DMK chief M Karunanidhi wished her a speedy recovery.
"Though I differ from Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on ideology, I wish her a speedy recovery and wish that she continue her work," he said.
DMK treasurer MK Stalin, Tamil Maanila Congress chief and former Union Minister GK Vasan, Congress national spokesperson Kushboo Sundar were among a host of others who also wished her a speedy recovery.
