Special plan for youth of tsunami-hit areas

Kanchipuram: A rehabilitation plan for the youth of the areas hit by tsunami has been envisaged including training programme to 450 persons in various skills.

19 panchayaths in coastal areas of in the district have been identified as the worst hit by tsumami, official sources said.

Training programmes in Desktop Publishing, tally and programming skills, mobile phone and light and heavy vehicles driving and automobile servicing would be imparted to the youths.
