Chennai:
DMK president M Karunanidhi on Tuesday regretted the reported violence against Tamils in Kerala against the background of the intensifying row over Mullaiperiyar.
Speaking to reporters, Karunanidhi lamented that the government of Kerala did not come forward to stop the violence against the Tamil people. "The Centre which is duty bound to halt the violence has also not come forward to do it. If the situation continues like this, our party's executive committee will be convened to take an appropriate decision."
