Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa has inaugurated a butterfly park, the government said today.
The park, constructed at an estimated Rs four crore over 6.7 acres of land at the Arignar Anna Zoological Park at suburban Vandalur, was inaugurated by Jayalalithaa from the Secretariat recently, an official release said.
It has a slew of features, including 200 species of plants and trees, and will have a conducive atmosphere for the butterflies, according to the release.
