Election officials in poll-bound Tamil Nadu have seized nine lakh rupees from the vehicle of actor-turned politician Sarath Kumar in Tuticorin.

The lone candidate of the party, he is contesting from Tiruchendur constituency in the district on AIADMK symbol.
Sources say flying squad officials recovered the cash from the actor's vehicles during checks early on Saturday morning.
