Udhagamandalam:
An 18-year-old boy has been arrested for allegedly raping a four year old girl near her house at Kottakombe.
Police said the girl's parents and neighbours rescued her from a bush near her house after hearing her screams.
The boy fled on seeing them and was arrested early this morning.
They said a medical examination of the girl at the Government Hospital confirmed rape.
The boy has been remanded to judicial custody, they said.
