Union Minister of State for Shipping Pon Radhakrishnan today played the role of a good samaritan when he noticed two youths lying on road following an accident and admitted them to a hospital in Coimbatore.
Mr Radhakrishnan noticed the youths lying on Vellalore Road with blood stains and immediately stopped his vehicle, police said.
Both the youths were taken into a police escort vehicle and admitted to the nearby private hospital, they said.
The minister is frequenting to the city to oversee the arrangements for the one-day visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 2 to attend two functions and also address a public meeting, considered to be BJP's poll campaign for Tamil Nadu assembly.
