The city-based 'Simples' group today launched an app, claimed to be the world's first urban intelligence platform to connect people in the city with information on news and more.
The application called "Simplicity app" is a new age tech-media platform that endeavours to connect, inform and engage people in a city to access valuable real-time information that will help them enrich lives, the Group CEO, Andrew Sam told reporters today.
The platform allows the people to know useful information, as they happen or before they happen, making urban life easier and meaningful on a day-to-day basis, he said.
For urbanites, the app will provide real time notification on power cuts, road blocks, breaking news, events, sports, jobs and other enticing information throughout the day that will enrich people's urban life, Mr Andrew said.
The platform will also be launched in Madurai, Tiruchirapalli, Chennai and other cities over a period of time, he said.
