In a suicide pact, a woman and her two daughters died after consuming poison while her businessman husband survived the attempt to take his life over financial problems, police said.
Mr Subramanian, who survived the suicide pact on Monday night and found unconscious at a lodge, had been admitted to a hospital on Tuesday morning, they said adding his wife and two daughters were found dead.
In a brief suicide note, Mr Subramanian had said he was frustrated with his uncle who was not settling his share of property in the family, resulting in his struggle to carry on life, Police said.
