Hyderabad: Fifty-six of the 181 samples tested yesterday were found positive for the H1N1 viral infection, it said.
"Sufficient stock of medicines and testing kits are available at all teaching hospitals, district hospitals and area hospitals," the bulletin added.
As many as 56 new cases of swine flu have been reported in Telangana, where the H1N1 virus has claimed 51 lives so far this year.
From January 1 till yesterday, 4,040 samples were tested, out which 1,316 were found positive for swine flu.
The number of deaths due to swine flu and related complications as on date is 51, a state government bulletin said today.
