Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday said different financial institutions have already agreed to provide a loan of Rs 22,000 crore for implementation of the government's prestigious 'Mission Bhagiratha' scheme.
Another Rs 8,000 crore of loan is expected to be given to the scheme, which aims at providing piped drinking water to every household in the state, he said.
Mr Rao, who held a review on the implementation of the programme with officials, said it should be completed by December 2017.
He took stock of the progress of the programme and discussed various aspects of it, the release added.
