Hyderabad: Heatwave conditions are likely to prevail in many parts of Telangana during the next two days, Indian Meteorology Department said in Hyderabad today.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places; most places may record the maximum temperature between 40 and 45 degrees Celsius, it said in a release.
"Appreciable fall in maximum temperatures at one or two places (today). They were above normal at many places.... The highest maximum temperature of 43 degrees Celsius was recorded at Adilabad, Hanamakonda and Nizamabad," the release said.
In the next five days dry weather condition is likely to prevail and most places may record maximum temperatures between 40 and 45 degrees, the IMD said.
