Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari will tomorrow lay foundation stone for 4-laning of Yadadri-Warangal section of the NH 202 in Telangana.
"The work on the NH-202 (new number NH 163) is estimated to cost Rs 1,905 crore and complete in 30 months," an official statement said.
"The scope of work involves 4-laning of 99.10 km section connecting Yadgiri and Warangal. The project also includes 4 bypasses (for Vangapalli, Aler, Janagaon and Warangal), 2 ROBs, 4 vehicular under passes, 1 overpass, 3 pedestrian underpasses, 3 major bridges and 25 minor bridges," it said.
"On account of this project, the total four lane connectivity will be established between Hyderabad and Warangal, which promotes the industrial activities around Warangal and also saves fuel, time, apart from improving the safety and comfort," it added.
