Hyderabad: The Telangana government will unfurl the country's tallest National Flag in Hyderabad on the occasion of the state's Formation Day on June 2.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today directed the state chief secretary to make arrangements for unfurling the flag at the Bathukamma Ghat of Hussain Sagar Lake, a release from his office said.
Noting that there is a National Flag at Ranchi at a height of 293 feet, Mr Rao said the flag here should be at a height of 301 feet.
The chief minister said the proposed flag would promote nationalism among the citizens.
