A teenager was critically injured after being hit by a speeding train while he was trying to make a reel for Instagram along a railway track in Telangana today.
The class 11 student was walking along the track, trying to have the moving train as his background. The stunt, however, failed as he was tossed in the air due to the impact of the collision.
Akshay, a student in a local college in Warangal district, has suffered grievous injuries.
A railway guard, who noticed Akshay on the track, called the ambulance service and he was shifted to a nearby hospital. He is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Unfortunately, accidents involving young men and women trying to make Instagram reels and take selfies at dangerous areas such as railway tracks are very common in the country.
