Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Monday asked the Centre to make changes in the guidelines for sanctioning education loans.
Addressing a meeting of members of Parliament from the state, he said a united effort was necessary to put pressure on the Centre to make changes in the policy of education loan.
Mr Chandy also asked for the immediate intervention of the Centre in getting the release of Keratitis from the hands of Somalian pirates.
The frequent hike in fare charges of flight services run by Air India was a serious issue to be brought to the notice of Centre, he said.
