A 27-year-old man drowned inKodoor river near Kottayam, police said on Monday.
Rajesh, an electrician, along with seven othershad gone for a bath in the river after attending a marriageceremony on Sunday.
Barring Rajesh all others swam to safety. The bodywas retrieved on Sunday evening, police said.
He leaves behind his wife and an eight month old son.
