Thiruvanathapuram: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will inaugurate the 'Emerging Kerala' global investor meet at Kochi on September 12, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday.
"The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of the Kochi metro rail project and attend the function of Kerala Kalamandalam and Kerala Union of Working Journalists," he told reporters at a cabinet briefing.
The three-day 'Emerging Kerala' meet has been organized with a view to attract investments by showcasing the state's potential to global investors.
