Speaker G Karthikeyan will inaugurate the three-month statewide programmes to be conducted in connection with the Thunchan festival, at the Press Club Auditorium on December 8.
V R Prabodhachandran Nair will preside over the function.
Several books published by the Thunchan Smaraka Samithi, including 'Ezhuthachan Krithikal' by N V P Unnithiri, 'Lalitha Sahsranama Vyakhyanam' by V R Prabodhachandran Nair and 'Ezhuthachan Gaveshanathinoru Mathrika' by B Balanandan, will be released on the occasion.
Vilakkudy Rajendran, Ezhachery Ramachandran, T G Harikumar, G Padma Rao and others will speak.
The festival is being organised by Thunchan Smaraka Samithi, Ayranimuttom.
