Thiruvananthapuram: A tigress was found dead in the Periyar Tiger Reserve (PTR) in Kerala.
The carcass was spotted by Wildlife guards at Nellikkapatti near the Mullaperiyar Dam in Idukki district on Wednesday. The tigress, around 10-year-old, seems to have died of natural reasons, Wildlife sources said.
However, the exact reason for the death would be ascertained only after post-mortem report, they said.
