2008 Mangalore Church Attacks

The state Cabinet met on Thursday decided to withdraw 23 cases filed against members of the Christian community during the 2008 Mangalore church attacks, said Karnataka's Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Kumar.

An interim report says that rightwing Hindu groups - the Bajrang Dal, Sri Rama Sene and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) - are to blame for 2008's Mangalore church attacks.
