2g Scam Accused Bail

The bail granted to Karti Chidambaram, son of former Union Minister P Chidambaram, in the INX Media case, has been challenged in the Supreme Court by the Central Bureau of Investigation. The 46-year-old businessman was granted bail by the Delhi High Court in March after being questioned by the agency while in its custody for 23 days.

A Delhi court today said it would hear on May 30 the arguments on bail pleas of former Telecom Minister A Raja, DMK MP Kanimozhi and seven other accused, chargesheeted by the Enforcement Directorate in a 2G scam-related money laundering case.
