30 Children Hospitalised

Nearly 30 children of a government middle school in Rajasthan's Bhilwara district complained of vomiting and diarrhoea after having the mid-day meal on Tuesday and were admitted to a hospital, officials said.

Around 30 children were hospitalised today when they complained of headache and giddiness after receiving rubella vaccine at a local school here, officials said. The children, all aged below 12, were administered the vaccine at the Saraswati Shishu Mandir in the Kotwali police station area here, Chief Medical Officer Dr. R P Rawat said.

Two children have died and over 30 have been hospitalised with suspected food poisoning after they were allegedly served stale food at a home for mentally challenged in Punjab.
