India is planning the rollout of 6G telecom network by the end of the decade to provide ultra-high speed Internet connectivity, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday at TRAI’s silver jubilee event. India currently has 3G and 4G telecom networks and companies are gearing up to launch 5G over the next few months.

High-Speed Internet Ban in Jammu and Kashmir Extended Till January 8; Ganderbal, Udhampur Exempted

Restrictions on high-speed internet in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has been extended till January 8, 2021. This means that 3G and 4G internet will continue to be banned and mobile internet speeds will be limited to 2G.
