65th National Awards

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is contemplating to send the citations, medals and cheques to over 50 absentee awardees at the 65th National Film Awards this year, through post.

Ahead of India's 65th Republic Day celebrations, 24 children between the age of 8 and 17 have been selected on Satuday from all across the country for the prestigious National Bravery Awards. Four of these awards will be conferred posthumously.
