At least seven people were injured in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar after a grenade attack by terrorists in a market area on Saturday, police said. Three civilians are in a critical condition and all injured have been shifted to a hospital.

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah has won the closely-watched by-poll for the Srinagar parliamentary seat, defeating People's Democratic Party's Nazir Ahmed Khan by a margin of over 10,700 votes. Mr Abdullah received around 48,554 votes, while Mr Khan got 37,779 votes, officials said.
