8 Dead In Mexico Shooting

Eight people died in a weekend shooting in Mexico's Morelos state, adjacent to Mexico City, authorities reported Sunday.

At least eight people, including two children, died in a shooting in a region of central Mexico plagued by turf wars between rival drug cartels, authorities said Wednesday.

On Monday afternoon, the Langford children watched as their mother and two of their siblings were shot dead in an attack. The surviving Langfords, as old as 14 and as young as 8 months, survived on their own for hours as one of them made a nearly 14-mile journey on foot to get help, family members said.
