Congress leader Sajjan Kumar was convicted in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots cases by the Delhi High Court today. Setting aside the lower court's acquittal and pronouncing life sentence for Sajjan Kumar, the high court said, "truth will prevail and justice will be done."

The BJP filed a complaint with the police today demanding the arrest of senior Congress leader Jagdish Tytler, after a Sikh organisation released a video, claiming it shows him saying "I killed a 100 Sikhs". The BJP ally Shiromani Akali Dal or SAD launched a scathing attack against Mr Tytler on basis of the video.
