"We are connected as human beings. We all have the same emotions, love, sadness, anger, romance and dreams. So, I tap on to that universal factor of an emotion and the rest of it is just covering. It's sweetening but the core of connecting all of us is the same. It's incredible," said Rahman

"There were lot of offers before to do a documentary on me, but I felt it was not necessary. And after the Oscars and all the brouhaha, I felt that people could get some kind of inspiration from my life, through the journey of my life, through the way I'm making music," A R Rahman said
