On Independence Day, a decadent tribute all the way from Dubai. At nearly 25 lakh rupees, Broadway Bakery claims they've created one of the world's most expensive edible cakes to mark India's Independence Day. The cake features Aamir Khan in character as Mahavir Singh Phogat from the 2016 blockbuster Dangal.

Filmstar Aamir Khan's latest movie Dangal has been made tax free in Haryana. The film traces the journey of wrestling champion sisters Geeta and Babita Phogat trained by their father Mahavir Singh Phogat hailing from Balali, a small town in Haryana.

Aamir Khan, who plays Mahavir Phogat in Dangal, said: I think the biggest way we could promote the Phogat sisters and Mahavir was by making a film on them. And that is what we have done"

In the new Dangal poster, Aamir Khan takes the centre spot and is flanked by both the younger and older versions of the Phogat sisters, Geeta and Babita

Aamir is close to the Phogats and has grown emotionally attached to Geeta and her sister Babita for the last two years while filming Dangal. Dressed in traditionals, Aamir greeted the guests and the paparazzi (of sorts) with folded hands.
