Adapt Cerebral Palsy

Mumbai-based NGO ADAPT on Saturday, organised a special programme to celebrate and honour cerebral palsy patients and their families for their brave fight against the debilitating disease.

ADAPT, formerly known as Spastics Society of India, set up by Dr Mithu Alur celebrated the seventh edition of the awards set up by the organisation to recognise the efforts of people and families who overcame the challenges of living with cerebral palsy to become achievers in their respective field

Fourteen extraordinary achievers were honoured at the ADAPT Achievement Awards in Mumbai on the occasion of World Cerebral Palsy Day.

On World Cerebral Palsy Day on October 1, Able Disabled All People Together (ADAPT), a non-profit organization, celebrated the achievements of people diagnosed with cerebral palsy despite their physical challenges.

Mumbai came together this week to felicitate people with cerebral palsy from across India. In a function hosted by ADAPT - Able Disabled All People Together (formerly the Spastics Society of India) - individuals with cerebral palsy were rewarded for their resilience and achievement.
