AAP lawmaker Somnath Bharti was today brought back to the capital by Delhi Police, who took him to places around Agra and Mathura to confront people related to the ones who had allegedly sheltered him.

An Aam Aadmi Party leader from Agra who allegedly harboured party MLA Somnath Bharti during the period he evaded arrest has been booked for criminal breach of trust in UP today.

Wanted in a case of domestic abuse with charges that include attempt to murder, Somnath Bharti, the Aam Aadmi Party leader and former Law Minister of Delhi, has not been located so far by the city police. Offices of his party were searched in Delhi and Agra before a judge ruled that Mr Bharti will not be arrested at least till Thursday.
