The Ministry of Civil Aviation on Wednesday launched Krishi Udan 2.0 scheme under which cargo-related infrastructure will be built in airports of north-east, hilly and tribal regions to assist farmers in transporting agriculture products.

The Indo-US trade Policy Forum will start its two-day meeting on October 28 in America where India is expected to press for greater market access to agri-products and removal of non-tariff barriers.

Commodity market regulator FMC has asked three national commodity bourses - MCX, NCDEX and NMCE - to take initiative and engage with nationalised banks to conduct joint awareness programmes for commodity processors, traders and millers, among others.
