Ahluwalia Contracts India Limited on Tuesday emerged as the lowest bidder for the construction of Executive Enclave as part of the Central Vista project that will house the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), official document showed.

The company's total order inflow for current financial year stands at Rs 2,086.44 crore, Ahluwalia Contracts said.

Ahluwalia Contracts (India) today said it has bagged order worth Rs 151.39 crore from Bharat Electronics.

Ahluwalia Contracts (India) on Monday said it has bagged orders worth Rs 244.13 crore for construction of a hospital for Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute at Kolkata.

Currently, the unexecuted order book of Ahluwalia Contracts stands at Rs 4,507 crore, the company said.

The year 2014 has been an outstanding year for Indian equity markets with the Sensex and Nifty giving returns of around 30 per cent. Benign global liquidity and improving macro fundamentals of India have attracted foreign flows of around Rs 1 lakh crore in to Indian equities in 2014.

Manufacturing, which constitutes about 76 per cent of industrial production, rose 0.3 per cent from a year earlier, the Central Statistics Organisation said. In the April-November period, industrial production expanded an annual 1 per cent.
