A tech firm and a university in Tokyo have teamed up to launch an AI-based app that can detect a cat's pain. Since its release last month, the app named "Cat Pain Detector" is said to have racked up 43,000 users, mostly in Japan but also in Europe and South America. It is already being used by some vets in Japan.
