While the DMK has fielded two woman candidates for the Lok Sabha elections, political rival AIADMK could accommodate for just one in its list released on Sunday. The BJP, which has allied with the ruling party, is yet to disclose its choices for the polls.

After announcing tie-up with AIADMK for the Lok Sabha Elections, the PMK said on Saturday that the alliance between the two was natural and that more parties were set to join the combine.

DMK Chief MK Stalin on Tuesday slammed the AIADMK-PMK alliance, saying it was formed not for the benefit of the country, but for monetary gain.

The ruling AIADMK in Tamil Nadu announced its alliance with PMK ahead of Lok Sabha polls likely in May. The announcement came hours before the scheduled visit of union minister and senior BJP leader Piyush Goyalto Chennai to firm up alliance with AIADMK.
