Health Minister Harsh Vardhan on Friday termed the controversy surrounding the removal of AIIMS Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) Sanjeev Chaturvedi as a "fine farce", and defended the government decision saying the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) had rejected his name twice and his continuation as CVO was irregular and indefensible.
