Philippine officials say an AirAsia Zest plane with 159 passengers and crew members overshot a runway in a central province after landing in windy weather from Manila.

An AirAsia Zest plane developed a tyre problem in the central Philippine city of Tagbilaran, prompting the airline, which is partly owned by AirAsia Philippines, to cancel its flight on Sunday, said airline and government officials.
