Mizoram's Aizawl To Have A Railway Link Within 9 Months

Mizoram's Aizawl will be the fourth capital city in the Northeast to come under railway link within the next nine months as the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) is laying the new 51.38 km Broad Gauge track up to Sairang, top officials said on Sunday.

I remember the times I used to take a train from Delhi to Guwahati , get down at the railway station, head off to the banks of this mighty river to kill time for three hours before taking the overnight bus to Aizawl, where my parents work.
