Sudesh Kumar Mahto who has been a key player in the state's turbulent politics said 'evident change' will be visible in the 2024 elections.

The AJSU Party, an erstwhile ally of the BJP in Jharkhand, indicated on Sunday that it is open to post-poll alliance with any party that fulfils its agenda of better and inclusive governance.

Amid lack of consensus within the party over formation of an alternative government in Jharkhand, leaders of Jharkhand Mukti Morch (JMM) accompanied by their state allies Janata Dal (United) (JD(U)) and All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU) met senior BJP leaders including party president Nitin Gadkari to discuss the modalities.
