MGM has lost film rights to the Alicia Vikander-led Tomb Raider movie franchise, spawning a bidding war between multiple studios. MGM had a May 2022 deadline to green-light a Tomb Raider sequel but failed to do so. Reports also suggest that Vikander will be recast.

Eros Now has announced “First Day, First Show” that will offer Hollywood movies directly on its online platform in India at Rs. 149 per film. Eros Now’s “First Day, First Show” is the second major Indian pay-per-view offering after Zee Plex on Zee5.
