The money trail in the cash-for-votes scam seems to have gone cold. The Delhi Police has scanned 10 banks in Delhi, Gurgaon and Karnataka and examined each transaction above 10 lakhs in these banks.

Politician Amar Singh may have to return to Tihar Jail soon. A court in Delhi today rejected his request for bail. Mr Singh was arrested on September 6 in the cash-for-votes scam and was taken to Tihar Jail. He was granted interim bail and allowed to go home after spending a few days at Delhi's AIIMS hospital.
