A Congress lawmaker, Sanjay Sinh's son was arrested today in connection with the murder of a police constable. A local court had issued a non-bailable warrant against Anant Vikram Singh, said police officers.

The high-profile Amethi constituency is at the centre of a royal feud. Amethi's erstwhile royal and Congress Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh and his son from his first wife Anant Vikram have been locked in a turf battle ever since the latter moved into the Bhupati Bhavan palace in Amethi with his mother this July.
