Andhra Chemical Factory Fire

Four factory workers - migrants from Jharkhand - were injured in a fire at a chemical manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh's Anakapalle district early Friday.

A major fire broke out in a chemical factory in Bibinagar area in Nalgonda, Andhra Pradesh today but no one was hurt, police said.

At least 17 workers have been injured after a chemical factory caught fire in Andhra Pradesh's Srikakulam district this morning. The fire broke out after a blast inside the Nagarjuna Agrichemical factory, said District Superintendent of Police KVV Gopal Rao.

Two employees were killed in a huge fire at a pharmaceutical company at Patancheru near here, police said.The fire broke out Sunday at the chemical factory of Rantus Pharma in Pashamylaram industrial area of Patancheru in Medak district, about 50 km from Hyderabad. The factory was completely gutted.
