Anna Hazare, who ended his vow of silence today, has given an A to the anti-corruption bill passed in Uttarakhand this week. That's likely to pay rich dividend for the BJP which is in power in the state, scheduled to vote soon for its next government.

Anna in Delhi, may end his vow of silence

Anna Hazare, who has not spoken a word in about three weeks, is expected to end his vow of silence on Friday. Mr Hazare reached Delhi on Thursday night from his village Ralegan Siddhi. He is expected to participate in the parliamentary panel meeting which is holding public hearings on the Lokpal Bill.

"The thought of giving up on my 'maun vrat' is playing in my mind. In the next 3 to 4 days I might end my 'maun vrat'. Crores of people have turned to reading my blog all over the world hence I think it would only seem appropriate that I end my 'maun' and hold open discussions with them," reads Anna's latest blog.
