DMK on Tuesday filed a petition in Madras High Court seeking a direction to Election Commission (EC) not to permit DGP (Law and Order) K Ramanujam to continue as the administrative head of the police force till the conclusion of poll process when Anoop Jaiswal has been specially appointed as DGP (Elections).
