An office superintendent and a senior clerk at the office of Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies in Thane were caught red-handed while accepting a bribe on Tuesday, the Anti- Corruption Bureau said.

After "exposing the nexus" between senior Excise officials and liquor traders in subverting the tender process for allotment of shops, Anti- Corruption Bureau (ACB) has intensified its searches on offices of Excise Department across Andhra Pradesh and seized documents, a senior ACB official said.
