DigiLocker has partnered with UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) to allow citizens to access their digital Aadhaar card number. Digital Aadhaar is same as the eAadhaar.

SBI requires the applicant to provide details such as Aadhaar, PAN and mobile number for opening two types of savings accounts: Digital Savings Account and Insta Savings Account. These bank accounts - Digital Savings Account and Insta Savings Account - do not require the applicant to visit a branch in person for a particular period.

If you haven't obtained your PAN card already, now a new way is available for applying for one. Mobile app UMANG provides more than 100 services on a single mobile app.

"The helpline '14444' is available in North as well as Eastern part of the country in English and Hindi and will soon be extended pan India, and in other languages," Telecom Secretary J S Deepak said.
