An Armenian plane ordered to land in Turkey on Monday for security checks while en route to Syria's battered second city of Aleppo was allowed to resume its flight on Monday after nothing suspicious was found, Anatolia news agency said.

An Armenian plane which was forced to land in the eastern Turkish city of Erzurum on Monday was travelling from Armenia to the Syrian city of Aleppo, an official from the Turkish prime minister's office said.
