A bizarre incident in Assam has caught at the attention of Twitter. According to several reports, a State Bank of India (SBI) branch ATM in Assam's Tinsukia district bore the wrath of rodents that left currency notes worth Rs 12 lakh completely destroyed. Pictures of the shredded notes inside the ATM have left Twitter stunned.

Over a month after a brutal attack inside an ATM in Bangalore left her right side paralysed, skull fractured and most of her nose chopped off, Jothi Uday, a bank manager, is ready to leave hospital and go home. Doctors say though it will take her at least three months to recover fully, the "brave patient" is now able to walk on her own.
